In XP, I was able to arrange programs into hierarchical groups, and ad
programs to the "Startup" folder (programs that launch at startup).

All these tasks were done using Windows Explorer in "Documents an
Settings

I would be grateful if someone could advise me (or provide a link) ho
to do this in Vista

Thanks

Hi,

C:\Documents and Settings is now C:\Users (a lot shorter). Other folders you
mention can be found under:

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\ Start Menu
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\ Start
Menu\Programs\Startup
