I have successfully upgraded my Operating System to Vista Home Premium from
XP Home SP2 and upgraded my Graphic Adapter from the intergrated motherboard
graphic card (that had no dedicated video memory) to a Vista Ready Graphic
Card (with 256MB of DDR2 dedicated memory supporting Microsoft® DirectX®
9.0). Post graphic card upgrade, my Windows Vista Experience Index is now
rated at a 3.9 (previously it was rated as 1.0) and I now enjoy/experience
the Full Vista Aero Translucency Interface Effect with Windows Taskbar
Thumbnails, Windows Flip and Windows Flip 3D features, etc. However...I can
not customize/personalize my Windows Vista Tooltips (from the default small
black print displayed on an off-white background). In Windows XP I could
customize the font and background color of the tooltip. When I attempt this
personalization in Vista using the following PC path (Control
Panel/Appearance and Personalization/Customize Colors/'Open Classic
Appearance Properties link'/'Advanced' command/Item/ToolTip/...it has no
effect on the appearance of the Taskbar ToolTips in Vista when I change the
font and change the background color of the ToolTip. Does anyone know how to
Customize/Personalize a ToolTip using Windows Vista Home Premium? If
so...please share your expertise!!
Thanks 'BOWDOC'
