Cut and paste to or from a message log...

I would like to be able cut or paste material to or from the message log.
Is this a feature in the works, or is there some way to do this now that I
have yet to figure out?

Greetings,

You can today -- just select what you want and press Ctrl-C on the keyboard to place it into
the clipboard. You then can paste it wherever you like.

Note, you cannot right-click and select Copy -- you must use the keyboard shortcut.
