d drive

can anyone please tell my why when i try to put any disc into the d drive
wether it be a music or programme or software disc it gives me the error
saying C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt system file is not suitable for
running msdos and windows applications wot on earth does it mean it never
used to d that
