dark screen

please forgive me as im a newbe to this problem is when booting lapto
all i get is a dark screen desktop is just visible i have to close li
few times to get screen to reappear any help with this problem would b

Hi,

By a "dark screen", do you mean that you get a black screen with a flashing
cursor or a a dull black screen with nothing on it? The former would
indicate a boot issue while the latter points towards a video driver issue.
