Data Execution Prevention closes Microsoft Windows Search Protocol Host

I am running Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic Service Pack 1, and almost
every time I shut down Microsoft Outlook 2003, Data Execution Prevention
pops up a few minutes later and tells me that it has shut down Microsoft
Windows Search Protocol Host because it was using memory incorrectly.
What's the issue here, and what can I do about it?
