That is expected. The WLM data files have to be on a local hard drive.
Network and removable drives are not supported. This design limitation
goes back to Outlook Express.
I'm guessing that the developers didn't want to deal with the issue that
the data files might not be available when WLM starts or the potential
mess of users trying to share the data files across PC.
