Date and time

Please help-my computer does not retain current time in display in right hand
corner-it is necessary to go into control panel 4-5 times a week to update to
correct time-what am I doing wrong or, what could I be doing that I am not in
order to keep current on time-I have a PDA that requires daily medical
updates and I a concerned that- when it observes that time in PDA vs PC is
off by >5 min-it wants to intervene and I don't like risking loosing my data
in my PDA----what do I do?

Replace the CMOS battery on your motherboard or get an internet time
synching application. The former being the better solution.

However - it may be that you need to update your system BIOS - ggo to the
motherboard manufacturer's web page and look for updates to your BIOS.
