On my work computer when I hover over the clock I get a tool tip that pops up
and gives the Day/ Date/ Month/ Year and my home computer just gives me the
Date/ Month/ Year. I have gone to the control panel to try and get the Day
included, but I cannot find that format in there. I am using XP Multi Media
SP3. How can I get the Day to appear on my home computer?

That is in the Regional and language options.
Start > Control Panel > Regional and language options

Regional Options Tab, English (United States) Click the Customize Button
then the Date Tab. Choose dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy for long date format.

You will then have the day of week, Month, day, year.
