Debug Assertion Failed

When start up window vista, the following sentence prompt in :

Program
C:\SWSetup\HPQWWAN\HPWWanGSAssistant.exeFile:f:\rt m\vctools\vc7libs\ship\atlmfc\src\mfc\wincore.cppL ine:2870

and ask me to click "retry" on this. When I click as said, it shows (As I
use Chinese version, I try to translate it into English below) :

Microsoft Windows Main Module - HP Broadband Wireless Setup Utility has
stopped to operate. The program stops to operate normally due to problems
occurred. Window will close the program and contact you when there is
solution.

What could I do to solve this problem? Could this be caused by virus?

An assertion is a programming technique, used to trap problems in a program.

The problem here will be highly specific to the "HP Broadband Wireless Setup
Utility". Hewlett-Packard have obviously written this utility as an MFC
application.

You'd need to contact HP Support and see what they say about the error. It
could be caused by many things. Only HP know what HPWWanGSAssistant.exe is
doing internally, to cause the assert.
