First, I'm no expert but I had a similar problem (see 'updates for 9/10
Dec - Vista' in this forum).
Try a roll back to a registry restore from before this problem; that's what
I did. I then installed the updates several at a time and for some strange
reason, that seemed to do the trick.
I knew the problem was caused by the updates since the problem occurred only
after I installed those 13 updates (from Dec 9 or 10) and my wife's laptop,
which was not updated, worked just fine on the same exact router.
That's about the only advice I can give. I hope it works out well for you.
