Decomission member servers

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a list, "how to" or best practise regarding
removing/decomissioning member servers in a domain. is it something like this?
- Make it member of workgroup
- Remove database IIS etc
- Remove from DNS
- Wipe or reinstall OS
Any help would be apreciated

Hello Radoman,

Basically you can just delete the machine account from ADUC. Then you can
cleanup DNS zones if not automatically done. Ofcourse before you have to
check if any services/applications on them are in use/needed from some users.
After removing from the domain is up to you what you do. If you will sell
it, i would strongly recommend to wipe it.
