decompression utility tool

after i installed vista of course not many things works
but when i download some in a zip file it wont unzip
where did the built in decompression utility go or how do you use it or how
do i get it back

If you double-click on a .zip file, it should open up in an Explorer
window with a decompress option on the tool bar. Keep in mind that you
need third party software for compression formats Windows doesn't know.
