DEEP SIGH

When turning on my computer it takes ages and after about 5 minutes it makes
a noise. Sounds like it takes a deep breath or makes a big sigh - does
anyone else have this type of problem? Sutdown seems to take forever too.
Would welcome any help.

Nasty noises are usually caused by something mechanical
Check your hard disk, and the various cooling fans first
