Default Browser for Hotmail

Where is the setting to change the default browser used for hotmail (the
"Open your email inbox" button?

On my system the default browser is Firefox, which I like. But when using
MSN messenger and I click on the "Open your email inbox" button, I'd like it
to use Internet Explorer, for two reasons: 1. It auto signs in and 2. I'm
sure Hotmail is desgined to run best in Internet Explorer. I don't care if
other links open in my default browser, but my inbox from this button I'd
like to use IE (or at least give me a choose in options).

I understand some people want to open their links in browsers other than
Internet Explorer, which is now the case (it'll use the default from what I
can gather). But I'd at least like to be able to select the browser to use
(in an options setting) when opening my inbox. I'm guessing there is no such
option? I think there should be. Otherwise I'd be happier to go back to the
previous version.

I also don't like how it now display "99+" as the number of messages I have
(instead of the actual number) when I have more than 99.

Greetings Jack,

I hear you on the message count thing.

I've tried making a few workarounds for the browser thing, but didn't have too much success.
