In windows vista, what is the proper way to copy the Administrator profile
to the default?

Then how do you sysprep it and not loose the changes?

Thanks

JW

Hello,
Use the copyprofile setting in the sysprep unattended file.
It does the copying for you.
The documentation for copyprofile should be in the Window AIK and the BDD
Thanks,

Hi

I got all working except the copyprofile. So far I have not found how or
where to change this setting. The documentation says to:
Use the following steps to set customized user profiles:

1.. Log on as a user whose profile you can customize (for example, the
built-in-administrator account).

2.. Customize the desired user profile settings.

3.. Set CopyProfile to true.

4.. Run sysprep /generalize to copy the customized user profile settings
over the default user profile.

Where is or how do you "Set CopyProfile to true."?

Thanks in advance
JW

The CopyProfile setting is in the Speacialize Phase, Windows-Shell-Setup.

Now if I can only get it to actually work that would be nice!
