I would like to be able to add programs, Gmail in particular, to the list of
programs given in Set Default Programs but am unable to find a way to do
this.
Could someone please advise if this is possible an, if so, how it can be
achieved.

Many Thanks
CGG

Hi,

Since gmail is a web-based mail solution, it's not really a program that you
install under Windows but rather a mail service. Since it's not a program,
it's not going to be an option under program defaults.

Gmail is not an application by itself.
You need a mail program or you can read it in your browser.
I get my gmail in my Outlook, Outlook Express, or WLM depending on which
machine I am on.
