Defender error

Tried to download the latest definitions for Defender and am getting
error 0x80240022 and the updates fail.

Anyone got a fix please?

See if manually downloading the current definitions will fix your problem:

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?Link...14&clcid=0x409

The file is mpas-fe.exe. Save it to your desktop and double click on it
when the download is complete.
