Disk Defragmenter Tutorial I found useful and therefore used (had been
looking for weeks).

I have run defrag.exe c: -w to do a full fragmentation.. above [they]
say dont close the command prompt until the Hard drive stops running...
Well my computer keeps going to sleep every 5 min of idle time, whereas
it sounds like the harddrive is turning off or going idle, and therefore
pausing the defrag?

And I was wondering, how do I know when it is done?
When the command line C:\Windows\system32> shows?
And is the defrag still working even when the computer goes into idle
sleep mode? Or should I be going back there every 5 minutes and shaking
my mouse to wake it up?

Thanks,
Riko

Shut down the services and what not that enable sleep so you don't need to
move the mouse ever so often.

then turn them on of you need to later.
should be under power management somewhere!

regards,

Will
