I am the same type of user as you I'm pretty sure, email & all that ---Anyway
I must say you can't defrag you system too much. Sometimes I do it 3 or 4
time right in a row. It really helps your computer to be faster. I'm the type
that's always messing around in the settings so I wouldn't suggest removing
all but the most recent restore point. sure it would save disk space and/or
memory (not sure if both or not lol) but it would really suck if something
happened and you needed it and did't have it. You can use the slider on the
sytem restore settings tab to decrease the amount of disk space used to keep
track of restore points or whatever I think that you would get the same
benefits as your wanting without sacrficing having yourself covered for any
little messup that turns out weird (happens to me alot anyway lol sys restore
is my best freind) oh and if you happen to cleanup the disk or go thru and
uninstall programs or delete files you should do all that 1st then defrag
after as many times as you like tht's one of the causes of slow systems
--files fragmenting from user deleting and disk cleanup etc. i hope this
helps you
