defragment disk

I have had problems trying to defrag C: drive and have found a site that was
a help,

I was getting messages defrag not installed on your computer and I used this
and got back disk defrag but it still will not work can any one help me?
I have windows XP pro with sp3

Then you might want to post your question in an XP group, not a Vista
group.

I do not use XP myself - you might be better going to an XP forum

But in case anyone reading this can help - I assume you hav
reinstalled Defrag using the instructions in your link - but it will no
run

In the meantime if you might like to try the free defrag program from

'www.auslogics.com' (http://www.auslogics.com

Many people use this instead of the built-in Windows defragger

For per-file defragging, Defraggler.

For full volume defragging, JkDefrag.

For PageFile and registry defragging (2k/XP only, not Vista), PageDefrag.
