Hello, Markus
If watching the defrag in action is what you want, You can try
Auslogics Disk Defrag. Once the defrag started, you'll see a defrag map
colour coded, i.e. RED = fragmented, BLUE = defragmented, GREEN =
allocated space ,YELLow = MFT , and GREY = free space. At the same time
,names of the files will be flashing as well as total # of files, how
many fragmented files, how many defragmented files. At the end you can
click open the defrag summary. Guess your mouth is watering now, right ?
To put icing on the cake, it's free to download. Go to google search,
enter Auslogics. OH, it is FAST.
Personally, other than being fancy, I don't see any difference in
result ( or lack of it ).
Let me know how much you like it.
