Hi folks,

is anybody there who can explain to me hwo I can delete
(de-install) active sync from my pc (Win XP Prof.)?

I have tried the following things:

deleting over system/software
with "regedit" all entries of active sync deleted
with a "regcleaner" all other entries deleted
and than running "fixmapi.exe"

After this procedere I tried to install again active sync 4.5,
but the installation failed because there is active sync on my
pc?!

Has anybody an idea how I can delete the old version of active
sync so that I am able to install a new version?

Thanx for your help.

Greetings
Joe

Uninstall ActiveSync 4.5.

Open Windows Explorer, navigate to the System32 directory in your Windows
directory, and then manually delete the dynamic-link library Rapi.dll.
