How delete defective update

The computer reminds me for weeks that a new update (nVidia-Display-NVIDIA
GeForce 6150SE nForce 430) is available.
But the installation fails, error code 80070103.

How can I get rid of this nuisance?

Visit Windows Update, click on "View available updates", then
right-click on that particular update and select "Hide update".

Hello Gerhard,

You could download your video driver directly from NVIDIA instead.
Yours will be the "Product Series: GeForce 6 series" and "Product:
GeForce 6150SE nForce 430". This should stop the update from showing up
in Windows Update with the latest 178.13 version installed already from
here.

If not, you can stop it in Windows Update by hiding it. This tutorial
