delete old albums

Hi

I cannot delete albums or songs of them in Media Player (Windows 7), which
where previously deleted in Windows Explorer.
The album is still visible in Media Player. Hitting the delete button does
even not show a error message.

How can I delete these old albums (and songs)?

This seems to be a recurring issue with WMP 12. Try restoring the media
library through Tools - Advanced - Restore media library (note that this
will make you lose all playcounts, and possibly ratings too).

If that doesn't help, you could try reposting this to the Windows 7
Media forum at
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...omedia/threads
This forum is being monitored by some Microsoft insiders who might know
more about this.
