Delete Temporary Files Locks Up

Since I installed IE 7 I cannot delete my Temporary Internet Files. I
navigate to

-->Tools-->Internet Options-->Delete Files Button

The box appears that it is deleting the Temporary Internet Files but it just
loops out. The hard drive is being accessed but I have to go to Task Manager
to stop the window. There is no evidence that it deleting any of the TIF's
when I have looked in the TIF folder.

I did not have any problems with this in IE 6.

Is there a patch or a workaround?
