Delete vista failed updates :(

Hi everybody. Could someone plz teach me how 2 delete the information of
failed updates? It's very annoying 2 see the message "failed" or "cancelled"
when viewing the update historical! Thank u.

I can add to this that it is rather annoying to have a notification of new
updates ever so often, which after installing fail by Error 80070103 (i.e.
the driver that Windows Vista want me to install is older than the one
already installed).

Now how do I remove these unnecessary update notifications?
