Deleted files don't go into recycle bin, when I deleted files..they
seemed to be deleted permanently without going to recycle bin first.
How do I fix this problem? I'm using Vista home premium 32 bit. And I
really hate the vista lol.

Thanks in advance

Bela

Hi,

Right click the recycle bin, check properties. Are the options set correctly
to not bypass it? Also, if you have a stuck <shift> key, this problem can
occur as <shift>+<delete> will bypass the recycle bin.

Hello Bela,

Right-click the Recycle Bin and choose Properties.

Make sure that the option "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin.

Remove files immediately when deleted" is not chosen (choose the
alternative).

The file is small..its a new pc. And I've already gone to recycle bin
property to make sure that the file is not moving to permanently delete
option when I deleted it.

Hi Shawn

Thanks for keep in touch. I did download *Fix_Recycle_Bin.reg
file and run it, I also tried to change recycle bin icon around a
you suggested but nothing is working so far. When I tried to
deleted file..it will ask " are you sure you want to permanentl
delete this file?" and after I deleted it..the file was jus
disappeared without going to recycle bin.

Ps
I have very little knowledge about windows operating system :

Just a shot in the dark. By any chance do you have a 3rd party Recycle Bin like
Norton as an example installed
