Deleted Items Folder can't be found!

I synchronize my email INBOX and other email sub-folders
from Outlook on my office PC. I have been doing this on
my Toshiba E330 PocketPC for the past year or so with no
problems. However, I recently noticed that I can no longer
view my Deleted Items folder on my PocketPC. So, when I
delete email messages on my handheld, I cannot track the
deleted items.

I think this problem started happening a few months ago
when I had a weird PocketPC crash scenario. I had to
restore from a previous back-up. Just recently, I had to
do a full reset of the device (i.e. erase its memory)
because I had used up all 64 MB of RAM. After restoring
again, I don't know where all of my memory went. Except,
now, I am thinking that my PocketPC may have been
continuously adding crap to my Deleted Items folder, which
I cannot access. I know that during the synchronization
process, files are transferred between the Deleted Items
folder on the handheld and the desktop. About a year ago,
I noticed that some messages were not being permanently
deleted from the handheld's Deleted Items folder and I had
to go in and do it manually.

Anyways, has anyone else experienced anything similar? If
so, then did you find a solution?

Cheers,
Andrew.

Hi Andrew,

I have yet to face this sort of a problem. I am curious to know which
program did you use to backup/restore the data.

Raj, I used the "Data Backup" Version 1.00 program that
comes standard with Pocket PC 2002.

Cheers,
Andrew
