deleted messages

I can't delete the messages in my deleted messages file. They are stuck, I
have tried several ways to delete and nothing works. Any solutions would be
appreciated? Thanks

Download and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit version or
the 64-bit version, try the 32-bit version first. Certain common
antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee,
tend to cause such problems, although seldom immediately, so if you
have such a program, remember where to find the fix - you are likely
to need it again. A recent antivirus program from Trend also causes
assorted problems in Windows Mail.

I also cannot delete any messeses from my deleted box - please advise a fix

Microsoft has a fix for that problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090

It only mentions "outbox", but in fact it works for stuck messages in
all folders.
