Deleted "Music" folder in Vista

I was in my "Music" folder and highlighted two items, then pushed the
"Delete" key. Vista asked me if I was sure, and I clicked "OK" (thinking I
was only going to delete the two music files). Then, Vista said that the file
was too large for the Recycle Bin and that it would have to be deleted from
where it was. I work with many large music files (1GB+) and this isn't
uncommon, so I naturally agreed and pushed "OK". Well, a few seconds later my
entire Music folder was deleted.... and about 20GB of original music (ie: not
mp3's... but actual music that I recorded) along with it. Is there a way to
recover the Music folder? I tried "Shell:My Music" and nothing appeared. I
tried right-clicking on the Music button in the Start menu, then clicked
Properties and everything was blank (no information; 0 bytes). I have a few
of the items on a backup jump drive, but I'm hoping to get everything else
back.

Thanks for any help!!
-Steve

Generally, the answer is no, but if they are really important, you should
search the Internet for a data recovery specialist. Some folks recommend
either Drive Savers or Seagate Recovery Services. Expect bills well over
$1,500. Even after formatting and before you re-installed the programs, most
data could have been recovered with any of a number of reasonably priced
utilities.
A lesson; always make back up of all data (documents, images, etc.) before
beginning any action such as that.
Drive Savers: http://www.drivesavers.com/
Seagate Recovery Services: http://services.seagate.com/
Here are some links to various data recovery programs. People whom I respect
have recommended R-Studio and Restoration.
R-Studio:

Restoration (freeware): http://www3.telus.net/mikebike/RESTORATION.html
PCInspector File Recovery:

Executive Software “Undelete”: http://www.execsoft.com/undelete/undelete.asp
File Scavenger: http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm
Ontrack's EasyRecovery:

Good luck!

Deleted music files can be recovered using Digital Media Recovery
Software. It features an extremely easy interface and powerful functions
that allows users to recover deleted and lost music files.
