Deleted Recycling Bin

I accidentally deleted the Recycling Bin icon on my desktop, how do
restore it

Hi,
Right click on the desktop and select Personalize. Then in the upper left
corner select Change desktop icon. Then put a check in Recycle bin box.

I've had a similar problem where I deleted the recycling bin by mistake. I
have tried both methods for restoring it, but after restoring it, the icon
does not change as it should when it has files in it unless i manually
refresh my desktop. There MUST be a better way.

Right-click on an empty part of the desktop

choose "Personalize"

left panel of the resultant window choose "Change Desktop Icons"

check the Recycle Bin box and OK your way out
