deleting damaged e-mails

Hi to anyone,
I'm having a little problem deleting some bookmarked e-mails when the
address has been changed. Even when I put them in the recycle bin, they will
not delete - and then I can't get my recycle bin back to normal. It only
happens to a couple of bookmarks, but it is frustrating trying to get them
out of the computer. They also remain in the file folders. I have tried to
change the properties and to use a shortcut, but that doesn't work either.
By the way, I am using Millenium Windows.

Hi, Gerry...

I don't know what you mean by bookmarked e-mails. You might have more luck
posting this in a group for your mail client, or for your operating system.
You've posted this in a Windows Update group - not the best place for your
question. Provide a lot more details when you repost as it isn't clear what
you're trying to do, what you're using, and what you're having problems
with. Good luck!

Hi Gerry, in Internet Explorer, open FAVORITES, click on ORGANIZE FAVORITES,
select the bookmark to be deleted, and then click on delete.

If the above is not the problem and the deleted bookmarked favorites return
after reboot etc you may be infected with "SpyWare". such as "coolsearch".
You may have to download Ad-Aware and/or Spybot and/or a specific
CoolWebSearch removal tool.

Here I am again. I tried to look to see if Spyware such as "coolsearch" was
on my computer. I couldn't find anything. I have downloaded Noadware, and
that has helped with other things - but I still have the damaged bookmarks -
one by itself, another in a folder named "Junk Folder". If I try to delete
them, they remain where they are and they also enter my recycle bin and
cannot be deleted from there.
Thanks!

Hi Gerry, perhaps you should now repost to a more appropriate NG stating your exact
problem, your OS and what you have already tried. Hope you resolve your problem.
