Deleting SP2 update without doing the update

My Windows XP Home Edition downloaded the SP2 update, but I don't have any
desire to update my PC. I'm happy with SP1. The trouble is, every time I
boot the computer, the system tray shows the Update icon and it informs me
that this update is waiting to be installed. How do I delete the download so
that it will stop pestering me to run the update?
