Deleting the SP3 Update Icon

I have some serious work to do on my computer before I install SP3 which is
setting on my task bar. I think it may interfere with the next monthly
updates.

How do I delete the update? I don't see a way to do this.

It won't.

Just leave it be, uncheck it when you choose to install updates next if you
are not ready to install SP3.

Thank you for responding. Just checked this question again to make sure it's
no problem with incoming updates. All I could think of was to reject the
license. Just not sure that's the right thing to do.
