I deleted all the tags from some photos using Windows Photo Gallery and
deleted the tags themselves, but all those tags still show up in Media Center
still associated with those photos. How can I delete them? Thanks.

This is really puzzling and I STILL haven't figured it out. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks.

May not be helpful, but I just now tested a photo of mine: with a tag, the
tag shows up in Windows Media Center just under the date; I removed the tag
in Windows Photo Gallery, but the tag still showed up in Media Center as you
report. Then I removed the tag by right clicking on the file in its folder,
chose Details, and removed the tag from that window, and (lo and behold) the
tag does *not* show up in Media Center. So, if you really need to remove a
tag or two, try doing it from the Properties/Details tab. Always something,
isn't it.....

Thanks for trying, but I did also check for tags through Properties - Details
and there are no tags for these images there, but Media Center still shows
their old tags.

Even after removing the photos from the Pictures folder, Media Center still
shows all the tags and a place holder for the now missing photos. Not good.

I think I got it...

In Windows Media Center (Home Premium), go to library setup.
Disaccociate _all_ folders.

Close WMC.

Reopen and reassociate all of your media folders.

Try it, worked for me to get rid of pesky tags from deleted pics.
