Deleting Windows Defender from Task Scheduler

::Window Defender Task Scheduler:
::In Task Scheduler I am attempting to delete the Windows Defende
folder and its contents from the Microsoft folder. I have tried all o
the delete options, but after I reboot, the folder and its content
reappear. How can I permanently delete the Windows Defender folder?:

Did you turn Defender off, before doing this? Also, maybe check the settings
under "msconfig" to make sure it won't restart when you reboot?

::Thanks for the return. I do not have Defender in msconfig settings.
My situation is this: I have Windows Defender scheduled under Tas
Scheduler Library and would like to leave that entry there. So, I don’
want to turn it off. Since Windows Defender, in my case, appears agai
under the Microsoft folder, I saw this as a double entry of the sam
thing. However, as my update to my post indicates, my Google searc
seems to say not to delete this folder. The two entries for Defende
are listed as MP Scheduled Scan and MP Scheduled Update. I am of th
opinion that these entries might serve another purpose and should not b
deleted. However, I am still confused as why The Last Run Time i
listed as Never.:
::So, if someone can help clarify this for me, it would give me an ide
how to proceed.:
