Dell Axim X51v - ActiveSync 4.0, WM5

Hi all,

I just received my Dell Axim X51v and have installed it but I am having
synch'ing problems.

With my previous HP iPAQ 3950 with WM2003 and ActiveSync 3.8, I was
synch'ing Calendar, Contacts and Tasks to Outlook 2002. However, for email,
I have always used Outlook Express - I simply never use Outlook.

When trying to sync., I continue getting a message "Either there is no
default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfil the messaging
request. Please run MS Outlook and set it as the default mail client."

While I can read and understand the error message, I still wish to use
Outlook Express. Does anyone know any technical reason why I cannot now use
Outlook Express for email? Am I now forced into using Outlook 2002 for
email?

enterprise users don't use outlook express

if you want to sync and/or get rid of the error message
