Delurking: My opinion about this group and its mental patients

Boy, does this group need a "Self-Anointed Moderator," or what?! ;-)

Back in the good ole days of xp.gen, the pro v. anti-microsoft forces
used to fight over things that were at least tangentially on-topic, you
know about the OS, and the company that made the OS. Sure, the fighting
got dirty, nasty, and personal, but it was never as totally off-topic as
this group is.

This group is more like the collection of trolls over at alt.os.windows-
xp, more about trolling than the topic at hand.

People of good conscience need to take a stand against these trolls that
have hijacked this group. Sitting back quietly has only condoned the
actions of these childish trolls.

Ya'll have only a few choices:

1.) Do nothing, and let this group continue its downward spiral.
2.) Stand up to these children, and keep putting them in their place,
until they leave with their tails tucked firmly between their legs.
3.) Go on strike, stop posting here, and force MS to deal with this troll
problem in their group.

Is this a group for those needing help with Vista, or is this just a
place for trolls to play?

The choice is in the hands of the more rational members of this group.
Do something, anything, or just continue to condone the trolls' control
this group!

read some groups and added this one for sh*ts and giggles, and have been

Kill-files are for losers. And that doesn't help those coming to this
group looking for answers to their problems, only to find all the

I have been part of MS newsgroups for years. I have NEVER seen such crap in
any other Microsoft newsgroup,
like I have seen in here. I have never seen a collection of such IDIOTS in
one Microsoft newsgroup ever.

I will give you a GOOD reason this newsgroup is different.

Vista attracts stupid people because its quality is bad, and bad attracts
bad.
Its simple.

If you had a good product then there would be little controversy or need to
quarrel.
Sure there would be some trolls from time to time, but they would leave
without something to fuel their troll hunger.
Vistas very nature is food for FLAMEWARS, people who love it and people who
hate it, and some who come in here
because a lot of commotion is going on and post irrelevant crap just to get
the attention (see spanky and its clone kevpan).

Don't blame ANYTHING or ANYONE else. Blame Vista for being a bad product in
the first place that has caused grief and disappointment and controversy all
over the globe.

You are one of the biggest "trolls" of all.

Perhaps YOU should leave this group, and never come back. Then
perhaps more peace will reign here.
