Thank you Jonathan for you answer.
The software is publiched through GPO: when I click for installation
(Control Panel \ Add remove applications) the following error is logged:
(I translated message from italian language)
Event Type: Error
Origine evento: Application Management
ID evento: 101
Description:
Assegnazione dell'applicazione Windows Live Messenger dal criterio Software
Deploy (Windows Live 8.1 it) non riuscita. Errore: Errore irreversibile
durante l'installazione. .
Translation:
Application's assignment Windows Live Messenger from Software Deploy
(Windows Live 8.1 it) failed. Error: fatal error during installation.
I applyed the same steps to publish MSN Messenger 7.5 and installations was
successful. Also, if I install WLM 8.1 directly from its msi it works fine.
Regards
Vito
