Deploying auto update through a WSUS server in large workgroup

Is there a way to install updates automatically to 500 plus workstations with
no domain from a WSUS 3.0 server? I would like the workstations to pull from
my WSUS server and install the updates automatically.
Has anyone had any luck with wuauclt.exe? When I run wuauclt /? I get
nothing.
