That's so he can show you where the caps lock key is located

(Typing in all capital letters is considered "Shouting" in a newsgroup
but hey, we all have to start somewhere).

Seriously, if you want a good answer can you give a bit more detail, is
this an install you did yourself and did you set up a user other than
the name you typed in during the install?

If this is a PC you bought with Vista on it already maybe the store set
it up for you?

If neither of the above it may be something broken, have you had any
other problems with the machine?

Are you on a limited account, and/or is UAC enabled?

I have the same problem which resulted after a long and bitter struggle with
something call "spyshredder" Mine is a personal PC, and since I am the
"administrator"...I've tried enabling and disableing features to no effect.
My background is black; the message reads that the feature has been disabled.
So?
