desk top icons move on there own

I have recently purchased a new computer which by default has Windows Vista
installed on it. Everytime I shut down or put in "Sleep" mode all my desk
tops icons move! Any suggestions on how to keep them where I've placed them?

Right click the Desktop > select View > click 'Align to Grid'
