desktop calendar data missing

I recently created a calendar while not signed in to Windows Live.
When I signed in, my calendar data appears to have been uploaded to my
online calendar and it no longer appears when I'm not signed in. How
can I arrange to see my calendar data whether or not I'm signed in?

Ensure you go to WLM's mail options for 'Connections' and click Stop
Signing In, close WLM, then reopen to open the program in full 'no sign on
mode' to ensure you are viewing the 'no sign on' Calendar
- For WLM 2009 - Tools/Options/Connections
- For WLM 2011 - Alt F/Options/Mail/Connections

Note: either mode (sign in or no sign in to Windows Live) has separate
Calendar databases. Changes in one will not be reflected in the other.
