desktop customization

In XP one was able to customize a desktop by displaying a web site as a
desktop item.
Is this feature gone in Vista (Home Premium)?

Hi Oliver,

I believe this use to be called "Active Desktop". You might look at
this site to see if this will help you. It will only work for the 32
bit Vista for now though.

Active Desktop is not included with Vista.
