Hi. It is maybe a month old. It's an Asus Noteboo
N80Vc/N80Vr/N80Vm/N80n/N80b series. It has an Nvidia High Def Card (
don;t know what model-sorry). It started about a week ago, had not don
it before that, and I haven'tloaded any new software or anything since.
I am a complete noob to Vista (and so far I miss XP) and though I a
not stupid, thi is normaly my software engineer hubby's realm, like th
medic al health of our family is mine.

But he isn't available t
help
There are no viruses that can be found via Bit Defender or othe
programs, and the machine really is BRAND NEW and I don;t really thin
it has been exposed to any hidden viruses that could already be hidin
thr daily detailed scans. I really can;t think of anything I have don
since my husband got the machine and eveything was first loaded.
haven;t ben able to find info on this exact problem-similar ones, bu
all the advice was to select "Show Desktop Icons" in the View dropdow
menu
Hope that helps. Thanks!!!
