desktop loades twice

When my desktop fihishes loading it reloads again. I even see a double
location listed for the program the icon represents.

This is rediculess! Any sugestions to stop this from happening?

Log off and log in again (do not turn the machine off!). Next time it
happens do it again. The problem will go away shortly. I had it on one of my
Vistas a couple of days ago. It is OEM.
