What is the significance of the arrow changing to a red blob?

Hi Dave,

I don't know that there is any significance beyond it telling you that
something is wrong. Possibly a video driver issue, you may want to try
reinstalling or updating yours. Another possibility is an issue with the
library file that houses the icons, you could try running sfc /scannow from
an elevated command prompt to correct this.
