Running Windows Vista x6

I'm sure this has been posted many times before... I've trie
everything, though. I "reformatted" while protecting all my data...whic
was left in a folder called "BACKUP". The contents of the folder i
Program Files, Program Files (x86), User, and WINDOWS. None of the file
are in use. I would like to delete it, as it is hogging 30gb. I hav
tried taking ownership by right clicking and going to security
selecting full ownership...I have also taken full ownership in cm
prompt....I have tried this in Normal Windows as well as in Safe Mod
(all with administrator privileges). I've tried: rd filename /s in cm
prompt, too....and it says "access denied". I have tried deletin
individual files, and can get some of them removed but not all of them
Oh yeah, I also tried changing with WIC settings and allowing mysel
WDAC privileges...but nothing....anything??? HELP

Hi -

Are you using an elevated administrative cmd/DOS prompt -
START | *cmd.exe*

Another method that may work - activate the hidden admin account -
From an elevated admin cmd/DOS prompt -

*net user administrator /active:yes

Log off your account; at the logon screen you'll find the Administrato
account.

To hide the account after use, change YES to N

Regards. .
