Detecting Servers in WSUS

Just installed WSUS on a w3k std server with SP1. We currently run SUS,
serevrs are directed to the server using GPO. I have updated the GPO to
direct servers to new WSUS server, the issue I have is that only 37 are
displayed in the WUSAdmin site and about 30 are missing. I have checked the
registry and they are set to the correct server.

What mechanism causes the computer to be displayed in the Computers screen,
is there a method to manually add missing servers?

Any advice appreciated.

Perhaps try the WSUS Newsgroup

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...pdate_services
(OE client)
or
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...pdate_services
(web client)

Looks like the link above doesn't work anymore, try this one instead:

Hi Torgier, I just tried the link and it worked now but I'll update my notes
and use your new link in the future. Thanks for that.
